Hi all
I'm in the process of making my first brew. I'll be using a standard Wilco pressure barrel. I've noticed the cap says "lubricate before use".
Where do I lubricate and with what? I assume the pin hole in the cap is to vent excess pressure or will I have created a bomb when I screw it tight?
Many thanks.

Correct about the pinhole pressure relief. The lubrication (Vaseline) goes on the white rubber seal underneath the cap. Don't over tighten it, you'll distort the seal.

Hi
Iv always put the Vaseline on the threads of my barrel (just a smear) and the same UNDER the rubber seal, and don't over tighten
Rob.
