Posting Bottles

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience in sending full bottles through the post.
My older brother, who is also an avid brewer, is keen to try some of my own, however the distance between us is somewhat of a problem - Glasgow to Medway.
Much appreciated if you could let me know how it could be done, delivery companies to use, etc.

Posting bottles is not much of a problem but can be expensive and they need to be well packed to avoid breakage.

Check with the Royal Mail website to see what the price is. This varies with weight. Currently a small parcel is £2.90 up to 2kg (on offer until 29th March) then it jumps to £13.75.

You can Google to find out about packing requirements and restrictions regarding sending alcohol in the post. (not a problem with beer)
