Hello,
Just about to cold crash my beer for a couple of days before bottling.
Removed the lid to have a peak, and this is what I saw:
It's a biab sash. Red X malt with cascade. I also used some carapils for head retention. US-05 Yeast, brewed to about 8 litres . For the first time I tried 1/4 of a britewort tablet (which is the same as protafloc, I think).
So, is their an issue? I haven't brewed a batch that had so much stuff floating on top before. Obviously, I can see a fair amount of hops that failed to hold back when pouring into the fermentor, but not sure about the other stuff...
Would be great for some advice.
Thanks.
