Hi Guys

i am new to all this game but been wanting to do it for some time.

bought a brew buddy kit (basic but meant to do the trick)

starting with coopers european lager kit and started this on saturday (just gone)

how long would it be reccommended to keep the brew in the fermentation bin for before bottling it?

many thanks

Craig

Hi Craig

Welcome aboard! Give it at least 7-10 days in the fermentation bin. If you've got a hydrometer then check the reading after about a week or when the bubbles on the top start to disappear. Once you get two/three identical readings in the 1005-10014 range it should be ok to bottle but leaving it a couple of extra days won't do any harm.

Hope it goes well, in my experience Coopers kits produce good and reliable results.

Cheers Andy

Thanks for the advice :)

I've bought a cider kit as well and I'm awaiting delivery of another fermenting bin and demijohn

looking forward to my new hobbie :)
