I've had some really nice brews from extract. My latest was a fresh batch of LME syrup, saaz, lager flavapack from brupaks and a mauribrew 497 yeast... Tastes similar to muntons continental pilsner, only better (think I'm allowed to say that?)

Reading this post has been very interesting to me as I have been brewing kits for a while now and want to take the next step on the way to AG brewing. I have ordered the Tribute clone extract kit from BrewUK (seeing the kit is what has inspired me to take the next step) and am planning to do it this weekend (hopefully ready for Christmas...!)
Would be great to hear how you got on, if you have done any more since and if you found any issues that you Weren't expecting.
