Bit late but brewed a pilsner type beer couple weeks back and just got it bottled and inot the ferm fridge for carbing up! Had a try of it after cold crashing and has a lovely malty taste and pretty clear already :) Looking forward to it. Accompanying beer was my Frankenbrew IPA i knocked up with left over grains and must say I'm impressed with how decent it is. Be dropping a bottle off for @Manxnorton to try as he's the Guru of Knobheads Brewing :p

Crap at doing write ups so it is what it is haha!

Did you use 100% pilsner malt?
What hops did you use?
Hey mate, used below

3.2kg Munich Malt
0.2kg Cara Pils
0.1kg Honey Malt
0.1kg Weyman Carahell
1kg Pilsner Malt

Hops
Hallertau/Chinook

:) New to all this so generally miss all the important bits haha

Nice one! Drop me a bottle for swap when it's ready and we can compare? My first ever shot at one so don't be too harsh :p

as if I would....lol.
see you the neet pal.
a good review...pics are the mainstay of any brewday, even if it obvious but new brewers will get a better picture and improve n stuff.
hope the red crown whatsitchops come today, as the cheap one is much use as tits on a fish.

Just cracked open a bottle for @Manxnorton to have a try of and I'm chuffed to say the least. Bubbles are spot on and the flavours a lovely malt with no off tastes at all! Head retention isn't the best so I'm going to ramp it up a couple degrees for a few days to get the last of the sugars munched in the bottle then start dropping the temp gradually :)

Again I'll keep everyone posted!
