That reminds me of a chap I worked with many years ago. He went out on a bright frosty morning in his car having just scraped a letter box opening in the ice on his windscreen...and drove into a skip!

We were in a pub in Chester where getting your phone out will get you a telling off or asked to leave if you persist. The reason being as per picture! Needless to say it was empty.
Shout out to The Blue Peter in Polperro as it was packed, top bar man, top beer and cracking music.
Ye Olde Boot Inn?
Used to visit regularly with my old drinking buddy but since it reopened after covid the beer (at least on our visits) hasn't been up to it's usual standard. I always preferred it's sister pub, The Falcon. Sadly it didn't survive covid
