2 as this has 2 points passing through the castlation image 1 has less points securing it.

Standard engineering practice is imagine 2 although the ends should be formed round the nut to avoid movement

I had a 1.6 and then later a 2.8 injection. Lovely car. You could put it into 2nd at standstill, put your foot down and not have to change gear until you hit 60. It got nicked

That was the problem back then you could open many cars with a screwdriver.
