Going for a pale ale tomorrow, I'm going to flavour it with pepper and parsley.
I wanted this to be an all grain brew but I'm waiting for my new propane burner to come, so unfortunately this is an extract brew. I'm using Columbus hops.

Sounds nice and different, how are you using the pepper and parsley, throwing them in whole or smashing up and steeping in boiling water to make an infusion to add to the FV?

You have given me an idea for a couple of brews I would like to give a try now :thumb:

Lemon and thyme for a light summer IPA and possibly a basil and plum porter to have a long condition for autumn

Not quite decided yet, I did a boil and infusion for my spiced brown ale but I have a muslin bag so I could just throw it into the boil with the hops.

I'll let you know :)
