Sadly the control box for my peco mashing/boiling bin seems to have stopped working (was fine on the last brew and then cleaned and put away as usual). It's the "Digital Mashing/Boiling Bin" model EB1D.
I plug it in and although it flashes to life, and responds to buttons (so I can attempt to set a temperature level etc) it then just goes blank as though unable to read any temperature. I do wonder if it's the sensor probe that's failed.
Has anyone had any experience like this or replaced the sensor probe? I see Peco sell a whole replacement control box but that's getting on for £70.
