Not really... I'm sure it's very good, but I prefer to design and build all my own hardware and software :-)

Given your skills I understand perfectly.
I tend to resort to making things myself when I can't get what I want or the price is just too high for what's involved. In this case, the Spark looks good value because I simply couldn't build it myself.

Absolutely agree! Truth be told I probably get at least as much enjoyment from building the kit as I do brewing the beer ;-)
