We had a glut of Pears this year so I decided to juice them, got around 7 litres of juice in the fermenter, added the usual Campden Tablet and a teaspoon of Pectolase + some Yeast Nutrient and left it for 36 hours then added 11g of Cider Yeast. Nothing for 24 hrs but on day 2 the bubbler was showing signs of life with a steady bubble every second. Day 3 and it had stopped completely so I left it for 24hrs to see if there was any movement and then gave it a gentle stir. Still nothing. I will do a Hydrometer test later today to see if it has infact fermented out but I am thinking more like a stuck fermentation. Any comments welcomed.:hmm:
