Pacific Gem hops

They are excellent hops . . . I've used them in the past to provide bittering for pilsners to cut down on the hops in the copper.

They do have a distinct taste however, which is a blackberry type . . . I think it'll go great in a stout. . . . but with care the will suit a wide range of beer styles.
 
my first AG brew was a mix of pacific gem (at beginning of boil) and first gold for the last ten minutes - look for my post on PACIFIC GOLD - it`s been bottled for three weeks and has mellowed nicely since my first taste - its around 52ibu which the pacific gem hops are responsible for!! Barley bottom are really good for price on hops - i get all mine from them :thumb:
