Also because I've never been on a brewery tour i don't know what goes on etc, so would you recommend not driving? Was gonna come in my Austin Mini :D

you'll be ok if you have power steering and no licence to lose

Lol no power steering in that old car :) I've just found out i'm away the 22nd and at a wedding 29th :/ end of feb?? lol i wanna go!

I went with bier huis in ossett end of nov, it was £10 and we drank from 7.30pm - 10.00pm

I must have had 8-9 pints! Well with £10.
There was a choice of two ossett ales and 1 fearndas.at the time it was treacle stout, gold & chinook.

The tour lasted 20mins and was optional, you could stay in the bar and serve yourself.
But I'm guessing with home brewers there then the tour will last longer with all the questions you will be asking Paul (head brewer)

I've done the tour a number of times now!

I'm doing Elland Brewery & Black Sheep next month :)

Sounds really good! My mates are rubbish though, if it was a tour of the carlsberg ''factory'' then they'd be straight on it! Only me out of them that drinks proper beer! So i'm gonna have to tag along on this brewery tour like a loner and meet new people lol :D

I'm up the road from Elland actually, haven't even been down order a few beers from them though. Kinleycat which dates are we setting?

At the moment it's setting a date that we can all get on.
Failing that it will have to be the date that affects the least.
Saturday 15th feb looking like a possibility.
Anyone interested get back on the thread.
Once I have sufficient numbers I will confirm the booking.

still up for two places here any time date is fine

Should have at least the minimum 10, so I will contact the brewery tomorrow to confirm.
I will post further details on here ASAP.

Will have to sit this one out - I'm at the Elland Brewery trip Bier Huis are organising the week before and can't really commit to two Saturday's on the trot. Apparently wedding planning and house hunting take priority. Look forward to hearing all about it ;-)
