I started wine making today using youngs definitive wine from a can. the instructions basically said to add the can to 3 pint of water, add 225g sugar to 1 pint hot water then add yeast and agitate.
It then states to wait around 3 days before topping up the water.
then wait from 7 to 20 days for fermenting to complete.
it then says to add stabiliser and 2 tablespoons of water.
add campden tablet
leave for 24hrs.
add finnings and agitate.

Just wondering if this is right as it looks odd with only half a demijhon of wine.
I also would have thought i would add a campden tablet when doing the first part of the mix.
I also have 2 sachets of finnings, an a and a b, do i add both at the same time?

Thanks for any info.

i did one of these kits a couple of months ago.

wait 3 days then top it up to the shoulder of the DJ. when fementation as finished top it up to the neck of the DJ. as for the finnings if i remember right you add the contents of A the give it a good mix up, wait 1/2 hour then add the contents of B and give it another good mix and wait for it to clear.
