I've always wanted to make my own booze but really thought it to expensive and fiddly. Then i thought maybe home brewing isnt so difficult either. So when i was given a couple of demi-johns I decided why not try. ? So had a look around and found wilkinsons in Hitchen does brewing basics and a strawberry 6 bottle kit. I then saw a simple apple juice wine recipe - its cheap and cheerfull -so that went in demi john 2 . So the two are bubbling away.
But you guys have have really got some great ideas and I am looking forwrd to trying some of your unusual country wines- mostly the sweet ones. And one or two of the ciders sound to good to pass up.

Hi & welcome to the forum

Check out the turbo cider & WOW, it you haven't already. :thumb:

thank you all for your warm welcome. now mead sounds nice and I might try a simple pear cider. thats if what i have hurries up and stops bubbling so i can get my demis back.
