Hi guys, i've been fermenting a hambleton bard olde english brew for a fortnight now and went to take a reading today and noticed an oily film on the top, now having searched a while this seems to be something that occurs more with ag brews rather than kits or if fruit flies have infected. I can't see any flies in the brew but then again it is quite cloudy it smells ok and tastes quite good so should i be worried ? I mixed this with brew enhancer rather than sugar by the way.

Probably not, if it's like a the film of oil on water, perhaps it's just hop oils.

I've had a few like this...
