Hi,

First post! Pity it's about something going wrong :(

I bought a "design a brew" kit and brewed the wort up this afternoon. Unfortunately my Fuggles teabag split open, I didn't realise this until after the wort, along with most of the fuggles, had gone into the FV.

Will this have ruined the brew, will the fuggles now be completely overpowering? Or will it just be a case of me having to tie some muslin around the syphon when decanting to the bottle/keg?

Hope someone can help, this was gonna be my Christmas beer :( Is there any way it can be saved?

Don't worry, it's fine, the only thing is that it will be a minor pain in the arse to leave all the hops behind when racking to your bottling bucket. Sure look at dry hopping, a heap of hops thrown in after primary fermentation. It will be grand :thumb:

Yay! Thank goodness for that, I'll have to come back and review my brew in case anyone else wants to try it.

Thanks for giving me some peace of mind
