So... I planned today's recipe down to the tiniest detail, even took the day off work. Liquor up to temp and everything ready. I then went to weigh out and realised that I'd forgotten to order the ingrediants. :cry:

Had to slap together something from the bits i've got lying around. And an urgent phone call to get some yeast.

Ho hum.
 
And you restricted your language to 'oh bother'?

I might have sworn in both english and welsh but on the forum i have to set an example :grin:

What did you cobble together James and will there be pics :D

Pene said she has some hops, sorry forget the name think they begins with a B. She said there very aromatic and that you'd been using them

Sean, those hops are called Beata. I like them a lot.
 
That's the ones, just a had a google of them and they look nice, must try them in a pale ale soon

Stuck to northern brewer and target for my possible Sunday brew. Not formulated a plan yet :wha:

No, the fresh ones were Goldings. And a lovely pint or 160 they made too.

Beata were "showcased" at the Hopwalk though. I don't even know if I'll be able to get some more this year. But I still have about a kilo left.

No, we don't use the particular bits I was planning on using.
