Is this difficult to make? At £10-20 a kg I might like to take a stab at it

Most brewing strains are s. cerevisiae but not all s. cerevisiae are brewing strains. As that quote said, the selected strains are often different from brewers strains, but I don't know why.Ok BUT cultivate yeast in glucose = brew
not sure what washing and drying means or if Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a brewing yeast
You're probably right but anything that comes fortified (B12 normally), my first thought is "cheap as chips" manufactured processed garbageProbably hence the price.
