I hate these intro thingies 'cause I can never think of what to say.
Let me think. oh yes, I'm a bloke in East Yorkshire over the age of 40 and I am a "Born again brewer" after 10 years away from the DJ.
I found this site after a google search for recipes and saw the cameraderie between likeminded folk and wanted to join.

I hope you don't mind me squeezing myself close to the bar.


Oh, and the name, It's from a place down in Gloucestershire I once saw and remembered because it was unusual, I use it as a character name in online gam es.

Well, I bit the bullet and went and got myself a wilko's chardonnay kit. £20, not to bad considering the DJs are £7 each there atm. You only get one in the kit though, along with a bag in box wine server.
We'll see how it goes with the chardonnay goop. Afterwards the DJ is reserved for a rhubarb wine.

Feels good to be back at the yeast.

Finally back to the homebrewing after a forced absence.

Work went belly up. With so little income I had to give up brewing (and just about everything else) but new job, new start and I can finally make a brewery out of some of the bits I already have and add to make my "plastic fantastic" kit

Gonna have to amend my signature though, I've only got the Mead brewing (rhubarb and honey) and a beetroot & parsnip sherry on the go atm.

Right now...where did I leave that bottle of Turbocider when I was last here?
