As were new to this forum I thought we'd better post in the 'introduce yourself' bit first and then post in here to let you know all about our new epic Brew Shed plans. :)

We have started a blog on Tumblr here which has all the news to date but i'll start this thread and have regular updates to let you know how were getting on. Complete with solidworks renders and photos and stuff.

Tumblr blog is droidbrewery, i can't put a url on here as i'm to new on the forum.

Were based in Norfolk and as i recently moved here and managed to get some land with my beach house i thought it would be a good idea to start brewing our own beer in my back garden.

Hope to update soon.
I'll also be asking questions a lot when our stainless steel plant starts being designed and built.

Looking forward to updates :thumb:
And welcome to the forum you'll find a lot of good advice here.

We finally managed to get some digging done this weekend. Which means once the shuttering is finished its full steam ahead with laying the concrete base.
We've decided to go 5mtrs x 3.5mtrs overall size, this fits nicely at the bottom of my garden and still leaves some space for a temperature controlled cask/keg room next door.

Also had to dig out some savage roots and hardcore while we worked, this last photo shows the worst root.

Looks a good start. :thumb:

Just one question though, why do you have a ladder hanging on your roof?

Don't fancy digging those roots much  ...looking forward to the build :thumb:

They were a proper nuisance i can tell you.
Thanks, we'll have a new update for you soon.

Looking a good start, will follow your progress too.
I know the a hassle of digging too... removed 38ton of clay, soil, flint and rocks from my garden last year (by hand  )

You've got far too much time on your hands if you are making stockpots, crates and tables on solidworks..

Looking good :)

If anyone needs drawings put into solidoworks let me know.
