You made me go out in the cold to the shed  , which was okay cause I was getting a beer ;)

My Asda adapter plugs in the mains and hope you can see from the pic that you can select the voltage, more volts more water, easy to change when sparging a few mm above the grains.

thanks guys fully understood now ill be starting my shed conversion next weekend get some wood etc to make a nice strong bench then next month the pots etc

I have never seen one of these Nordic pots in real life - what are they made from?

Are they just a large stainless steel stock pot (ie thin wall) with possibly heater element in a welded on base section? is there any insulation anywhere ?

Theres mention in this thread of a false bottom - is the element exposed to the liquid or covered over by the bottom of the pot?

Apart from ebay - who sells them ? I cant find much on google.

They are sold by a french company called Nordic [email protected] that is their email address ill give you the link for their ebay site in france [email protected]. the pots are available in different sizes they are used for mash tuns as they hold temp well. Just a small conversion to put a tap in and install a manifold. Think they are £62 or there abouts :D
