Tidy the house? Do the hoovering? Put a wash on?

I was in a similar position, but I went out yesterday and got a 5l water bottle, a pack of balloons, a box of teabags and a bag of sugar.... what am I doing this morning?

The dishes

See this is why beer & BBQ are such great hobbies.
Nothing like slow smoking a pork shoulder all day to get you out of household duties.

To passing observers you are clearly very busy cooking.
But actually you are sitting next to a smoker with the newspaper and delicious beer all afternoon 'keeping an eye on it' whilst it takes care of itself pretty much :D

I've done some washing, been a dad taxi, walked the dogs, watched some rugby, been for a bike ride, chopped logs and lit the burner, made bread and now I'm creating empty bottles. So it hasn't been a completely wasted day. I like the smoked pork shoulder tending duties theory though!

good boy.... you can brew next Saturday now with a clear conscience :D
