A loathsome individual with "the gift of the gab". He latched on to a general dissatisfaction with the EU and magnified it, no doubt in the interests of businesses on the make in the confusion that would come out of Brexit.
As it was, British pragmatism was well appreciated in the EU and was gaining ground in many areas of EU policy. Yes, even in fishing and its protection of stocks in EU waters. Pity Farage, our commissioner in this area turned up to very few of the meetings to lay down guidelines and EU laws on the matter.
Yes, very easy to call for Brexit then leave others to clear up the mess. I felt sorry for Theresa May who did a great job in resolving the pressing issues of millions of citizens who were left stranded through no fault of their own. Yes, Brexiters would have left them without lifeboats and enjoyed the spectacle. Life isn't like that, politics exists for a reason and it isn't what Farage is any good at.
Diplomatically inept, his career as a politician has ended.

Though i tend to agree with you, he is an extremely good self publicist & is often on GB news & LBC radio.
(I dont choose to watch or listen to either) But due to his persistence on the migrant issue which lets face it the government has royally cocked up he has a lot of traction. He says what a lot of people think & believe passionately.
As to if this will turn into votes for the reform party remains to be seen.
It reminds me of a BBC reporter outside a Trump rally in the run up to the election where he was elected, Interiewer stops a fat middle aged bloke in a Trump baseball cap & asks him "who is going to win?".
Redneck came back with "Never underestimate the voting power of stupid people".
