Hi
Like this forum alot. I am just starting out on my own attempts at brewing, up till now I have been happily supplied by my dad, but want to do my own thing so I can brew what I like. Am a big fan of belgian style beers, but I understand that's a bit ambitious for a beginner!

Hi Cidergirl, Welcome to the forum.
Nothing is really too ambitious for you to achieve as long as you ask and take the advice of the many experienced brewers and vintners within the forum. A wealth of information is always on tap(no pun intended).Happy Brewing  Ken

Personally I've always prefered their waffles and chocolates but if their beer is what interests you, you're in the right place. ;)

Don't let your dad pull the wool over your eyes. I've tasted the Belgium beers he brews from the kits and they are very good so just give it a go.

Oh, and welcome to the forum.

going to put on a brewferm ambiorix, and will have a go at making my own candy sugar. can't wait to taste it.

Hiya. I'm also a newbie from Edinburgh (for the last 3 weeks anyway). I also like Belgian beer styles, particularly lambics and geuze. Good luck with your brewing! Benjii.
