Hi all,

I am interested in brewing my own beer more specifically cider for a first attempt and wondering about the equipment I need. I know I can buy all in one kits, is their a recommendation on what type of kit I need and where to purchase it? As I prefer dry cider, any recommendations on which cider to buy?
I live in Barry in South Wales and we have a wilko in the town.

So any tips Would be greatly advantageous and appreciated.

There's also the option of making 'Turbo Cider' from supermarket apple juice, there is a good thread of recipes and methods here: https://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/threads/how-to-make-turbo-cider.69059/#post-652157

Hopefully that helps until someone more experienced with cider can answer

And Lidl's Cologran is the best artificial backsweetener there is, in case you get tired of dry cider

Dry cider all the way! But would go to a medium cider if their is nothing else. Lol

I like the Bulldog line but they're sweetish. Clean taste, recognisable ingredients. Tasty to my taste.
