Hello all, new to the forum so I thought I'd say hi...

I had a crack at all grain brewing a few years ago - got fairly mixed results. Then I moved to the middle east for a bit and got quite handy turning fruit juice into passable wine and cider - there wasn't much else to drink!

Having another crack now doing small extract brews... wish me luck!

Yup it wasn't strictly legal... but it was the only way of getting booze (other than paying for ropey illegal "whisky" made out of God knows what) so most expats did it!
