Hi newbie here!! started my first ever brew today and think i've cocked it up already.
Instead of adding the 23ltrs of water as per the instructions, I got distracted and added 25 ltrs dooooh.
Can anyone tell me if this will weaken the final brew so it's undrinkable, or has anyone have any tips on how to rectify my school boy error BTW it's a Wherry kit.
cheers all

Another forum member did exactly the same thing a couple of weeks ago, diluting to 24L instead of 23L. Having done a few calculations I reckoned his will come out at 3.8%.

Yours is diluted by a further 1L so I think will probably come out at 3.6%ABV.

Welcome to the forum

On the positive, at least it is an error you won't make again!

Just call it a session beer and enjoy it ;) and learn from the experience.
