I have a small 50ml vial of Safale US-05 in my fridge that I harvested from a brew in December. I also have some light DME in the cupboard.
If I want to make a starter for a brew this weekend, do I just need to allow the yeast to warm up to room temperature, dissolve 100g of DME in some water and then add the yeast for a day or two?

Dissolve the dme in boiling water an boil for 10 mins. Then let it cool right down, pitch your vial and it should be ready to use in a few days!
