I'm new to the site and looking for some advice on best ways to clear fruit gin/vodka brews.
I have made a few and they are ok.
Quince a bit bitter, but I think it's due to pressure on the fruit when filtering (plate on top of sieve whilst draining).
Berry ones much better, but all of them have a residue at the bottom of the bottle.
How do I filter this out please?
I have used tripple layer muslin and a nut milk bag to drain the spirit. No luck.
All guidance appreciated.
