Hi all,
Just wanted to say hello, I've been lurking around the threads for a couple of weeks reading and gaining some knowledge.
I am a first time Brewer and went for the Love Brewing Luxury kit with the King Keg and Golden Rocket IPA.
Started the brew yesterday so lets see how it goes :)

All the best... some great advice and friendly, knowledgeable folk on here willing to share there experience...

Thanks all... My brew has been going about 48hrs but not seeing any gurgling yet from the water lock? Am I too impatient? I can see froth building on top though.

Froth is a good sign it's getting on with it.
Beer can be quite vigourus at the start of fermenting, check it hasn't blown the water out of the air lock.
It doesn't take much of a gap for the CO2 to bypass the airlock either.
30 years ago my first fermenting bucket just had a small drilled hole & no airlock & that worked most of the time.

As you will read many times on this forum airlock none activity does not mean fermentation is not happening, it looks like it has started with the froth on top you may have a seal that is not tight and letting the co2 to get out and not through the airlock
