Good evening from a wet Leicestershire.
Total newbie to homebrew so I've jumped in with a Mad Millie Lager, a Beaverdale Pinot Grigio (6 bottle) and a Beaveradale Rojo Tinto (also 6 bottle).
All bubbling away nicely and can't wait for the bubbling to stop and attempt the next stage.

Love reading this forum and how everybody has tremendous passion whether it being kits or AG brewing.
I would ultimately like to progress to AG but I'll take my time and enjoy the kits for the time being.

Welcome to the forum.

While waiting for the wine kit wine to mature in the bottle try getting a fruit juice wine on the go. Quick and cheap and loads of opportunity to experiment.

Thanks for the advice,
You have convinced me to have a go at a WOW or two.
Just one question - Where do I start with 144 pages of that thread to read through?

I like dry whites and roses - Any recommendations for a first WOW?

Just said this in another post but a good guide is: 3l 100% fruit juice 800g - 1kg sugar for 4.5l (one demijohn). Use any combination of fruit juices you like the thought of. Most people will use at least one litre of grape juice if they can find it or apple juice in place of white grape juice. Leave a gap at the top of the DJ to allow room for an initial vigorous ferment (just fill to the shoulder) then top up with water or juice after a few days. That's about it, and just follow what you're doing for the kit.

Anything goes Marmite Wine ( I said I would)
