Hi
Have searched, so not totally lazy!
I am three days into my first fermentation.
Did exactly what it said on the Youngs LArger Kit packet.
Unfortunatley, used 1kg of houshold suger on first fermentation.
Nothing I can do about that now. Will use brewesr sugar in future!
Here are my two questions.

(1) when priming plastic pressure keg (Hamilton Bard CO2 bottle) can I use the equivalent ammounts of 'Golden syrup' or preserving sugar. OR should I do the 20 miles to get 'brewing suger' TODAY.

(2) IN future, should i bottle not use the above keg, as this is supposed to produce a more sparkling larger.
Cheers
Dave

Hi Dave

Welcome to the forum

You can use normal sugar / golden syrup to prime the keg (using the same qty) :thumb:

For lager bottling using 1tsp per strong 500ml bottle would be best to get a sparkle :D
