Just started my first kit (Nelsons Revenge)...fermentation just starting to slow after 3 days.On reading through some of the posts on here, quite a few advise transferring the the brew to another fv after about a week, and leaving it there for another week before bottling.
Does the 18-22 temp. need to be maintained for this second week ?..or can it be left cool ?

Good choice for first kit is a lovely pint :thumb:
3 Days sound quite quick, i'd leave it in there for 7 days then have a check on it.
Keep the temp up while its fermenting, then when it's bottled keep in the warm for another week, then move somewhere cool for conditioning.
Personally i don't rack off into another fv i just wait for it to finish properly in the original fv and then bottle from there.
