hey there my name is karl
i have just bought my first brewing kit and about to start my first batch,
would love any advice to help me on this journey of brewing.
i have a coopers diy kit with everything in it,

what is best using sugar in the bottles or carbonation drops
and do i have to use brew enhancer every time i make a batch

thanks

karl

the coopers kits are pretty good, if this is your first brew I'd follow the instructions ,try and use brewing sugar instead of normal sugar when you can.
BKE is just brew sugar and spray malt (DME)mixed, sorry but I don't know the percentages.:wha:

I always use sugar for bottling, others use carbonation drops with no problems but whenever I've used them I always end up with what looks like a half melted boiled sweet in the bottom of the bottle(its probably just me).

there is an a-z of beer kits on this forum I'd look for the beer kits you've got on there and see what others have done with the same kits, good luck with your first brew.

I have done that kit a few times and in my opinion it is best just using a kilo of brewing sugar(or t&l). I made it using dme and it changed it from a lager type drink to more of a light ale.
