Hi
We're based in Britain so don't know much about US suppliers, but we do have a small number of US members who hopefully will spot your post and be able to offer advice.
Where do you get your winemaking supplies? Check those sources for beer as well.

Hello, and welcome! :thumb:

The simplest way to brew beer is to buy an equipment starter kit, a ready-made beer kit, and basically just add water. This is what I'm doing currently. Some beer kits require to you add brewing sugar. For equipment, you need a fermentation vessel (a big 25L/5.5gallon bucket with lid); a thermometer (maybe just a stick-on lcd thermometer); a plastic mixing paddle; a syphon kit (tube; racking cane; sediment trap; tap; and bucket clip); and sanitiser. You also need bottles; bottle capper and caps; or go the beer keg route. It's also worth getting a hydrometer; sample jar; and maybe a turkey baster for taking samples. If you have a tap on your bucket, you can use that to take a sample. Once you've done a few batches, if you find bottling tedious, you might consider getting a bottle tree; a bottle rinser; a second bucket for batch priming; and a bottling wand - it depends on what bothers you the most.

You can also brew from raw ingredients. This is called "All Grain" or "AG", and requires more equipment, but by the looks of it, isn't much more complex.

The Beer Brewing "How To..." Guides section has some really good guides - How to make a premium beer kit, from start to finish and The "OMG I don't want to screw up my first brew" to name but two.

Hello and welcome, look online for a "coopers complete beer making kit" has all you need to get started. also you could check out "you tube" search for "craig tube" . Good luck with your first beer brew although i doubt you will need luck if you already do wine.....
