New to homebrew. Will probably be pestering you for advice

Hello all,

For my 25th birthday (tomorrow), my dad has got me a homebrew starter kit, as I would like to get into brewing my own beer (eventually developing my own recipes from scratch, but until I have a level of confidence built up, I'll be using kits)

So yeah, I'm Kris (aka, Ukulele Kris, guess what my hobby is), and it'll be good to get to know you all.

I'm more into craft beers, than real ales (though that doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good real ale, I am just more excited about drinking craft beers, due to the innovative styles and flavours).

Er, not sure what else to say, so I'll leave it there.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Looking forward to getting going, but going to do a lot of reading first, and a fair bit of cramming.

I don't want to go rushing into my first brew, balls it up, and be demoralised and not bother again!!
