Well I've only gone and done it, my first all grain brew! Wow...what a long and stressful process. I've spent the last 4 months learning the brewing process from a newbie perspective, I decided to build a 23l set up and attempted a quick brew from Gregg Hughes 'the Bible'. It's currently bubbling away nicely 3 days in. Hoping to improve over time and chat with like minded brewers. Cheers!

Looks like the research paid off, your brewday looks quite organised and under control from the pictures.

Thanks Sadfield. I Really enjoyed researching the different methods and building it from scratch was quite rewarding. It's relatively cheap but will do me for now. A few changes needed, not a fan of the enclosed sparge arm and really struggled getting the temp down past 30c with my chiller. (Hot day didnt think) Thankfully I had a fermentation fridge ready but took hours to chill down to pitch. It's fermenting nicely now so hopefully hasn't caused any major concern.
