Hello all,
New to this forum has of yesterday so hear's a little about myself.
I'm from Hull east yorkshire/humberside 55 and work in the renewable energy sector for my sins and have been brewing wines for the last year and currently have a sizable cellar(garage) of various wines some from kits but mostly from fruits that include elderberry/elderflower/blackberry/gooseberry/raspberry/pear/black cherry and rose etc which came about from having such a lot of surplus fruits/veg from our allotment. I started out with the allotment 3yrs ago to give me and the family something other than sat in front of the tv of a weekend and now we are hooked with the peace and tranquility we get from whilst tending the ground. I started to make pickles/chutneys and jams with the surplus but soon found we still had a lot left over so the turn to brewing was a natural course, and now looking forward to the new crops this year to see what can be made.
