Hi
I have been brewing since the 90s. I brew wine, mostly country wines, from fruits I grow, including apples, rhubarb, gooseberries, blackcurrants, and redcurrants. I have made beer from the higher-end kits for many years with, to me, at least, a more than decent end product. Following my recent partial retirement, I have decided to get into whole-grain brewing as I have more time. I have bought a Brewzilla Gen 4, and my first effort (a Landlord clone) is currently in the fermenter. I invested in a fruit press this autumn and have made some cider for the first time. I had thought it would not be drinkable until the summer, but a taste of it when taking a hydrometer reading was surprisingly good! I also make yogurt, kefir, and kombucha.
