Good day to all. My name is Ken Davies. I reside in Kansas, USA.
I like to brew the odd things-beer & wine. I have done lemon balm, goldenrod elderberry(my favorite) elderflower wine, and rhubarb. I prefer to do wheat beers-Kansas has a lot of wheat. I will be doing something with sumac this year because it is everywhere.
Thank U for having me as a member.

It does sound like you like to do novel brews and nothing wrong with that.

Never made a wheat beer and I think I’ve only drunk one twice. Maybe later in the year.

Welcome.

Welcome Kenneth

As per my signature, I have an American Wheat Beer brewing at the moment for a local competition in July.
It's been made from a recipe I found on Brewers Friend called "A Wheat Heavy Beer"
It's not something I'm too familiar with - I'm usually a NEIPA / West Coast style drinker. I have had them before when visiting the US, but that hasn't been since 2018 (Although we intend to visit again next year).

Generally the wheat beers available in the UK are Belgian and occasionally German.
