Hi ollie

to start with if you like cider go to your local homebrew store and get champagne yeast a fermenting bin and a bottle capper scrounge about 40 pints worth of bottles from your mates and then go to asda or somwhere cheap and buy 20 liters of apple juice from concentrate (about 50p a liter) shot it all in the fermenting bin and mix in the champagne yeast leave for about 5-10 days or till your airlock on your fermenting bin stops bubbling and then transfer it into bottles you will need a piece of syphon hose for this(available cheaply from lhbs) and cap them. then leave to condition till it clears, chill it open it and :drink: MMmm lovely cider. It might be worth investing in a pressure barrel if you want to brew beer too and to get you into things buy a beer kit you can buy as cheaply as £6-7 but my personal preference would be a 3kg premium kit from muntons or brupaks at about £20 but well worth it when you think its still only 50p a pint and the difference in quality is massive. hope this helps.

there are many other things you can buy to help you on your way but i think this is the basic kit and idea.

good luck and above all have fun and :drink: :drunk:
