Hi All,
I did a few kit brews in the 90s. Boots Stout and Firkin Dogbolter if anyone remembers them?

Just getting back into it gently in the last couple of months. I've done a few turbo ciders, have a couple of wine kits on the go currently. Waiting 'til payday to order beer making gear to make some kits. I've been lurking on here reading all the top advice available on here for a while, so thought I'd better show myself and join the community.

Cheers,
Biffa.

Boots were excellent and their pressure barrels still work nicely. I used to have to wait until payday, but now, with the kids flown the coop and the mortgage paid off, I can wander down the high street and try to find a Boots still open.
In those hard years I used to go out foraging- had no money for the pub anyway- and made country wines out of all sorts of stuff. Only really paid for bags of sugar.
