Grainfather Glycol Chiller Update:
We know you have all been waiting patiently for the Grainfather Glycol Chiller, especially those who have already purchased our Conical Fermenters and are looking to use them to temperature control the fermentation process.
We were in the process of delivering these units to market, but unfortunately during our final stage of checks it has been discovered that a critical component in the product is not proving to be up to our standards, due to an issue caused by transportation. Since the first Grainfather arrived, we have always looked to put our customers first and provide them with robust products of the highest quality. To maintain these standards, we have decided to return all shipments to the manufacturer in order to have the faulty component replaced with a new design.
We apologise with sincerity for this further delay, but it is critical for us to provide you, our valued customer with a product that will perform to the highest standard and deliver the results you expect. We are unable to provide a forecast for a launch date until the units are diagnosed and a timeline can be established.
We appreciate you patience through this time and apologise for any inconvenience it may cause. We hope to update you further very soon.

However for those like myself who have no intention of paying ã800+ for a glycol chiller, they also announced an alternative option that is available now. This consists of a submersible pump and all the fittings to chill, controlled using something like an insulated picnic box. https://www.grainfather.com/shop/conical-fermenter/cooling-pump-kit.html
ã57 is a lot cheaper than ã800+. Also if you have already bought a conical there is a 50% discount on that too.
