I don’t even know what that means, it’s a saying that’s been stuck in my head since I worked with a fifer
It takes a Lang spoon to sup with a fifer

I'm not Fife but Clackmannanshire so not far!

I did my accountancy training with a guy from Glenrothes. One of the assistant managers used to make him say “Jacket Pocket” (jaiket poke-it) at least once a day.
