I need another bottle of the woodfordes wherry (for a mate at work to sample) as the Mrs gave them away yesterday to her family while sun bathing in sun while I'm at work. I've got some in my corny so can I just transfer from tap and put on lid or do I need to prime with sugar and give it the general rule of 2 weeks warm/ 2 weeks cool. It has already been carbonated in corny so don't want the bottle to explode lol

If you can add some tubing to your tap so the beer goes to the bottom of the bottle that will help. If he intends to sample pretty quickly this will be fine, you may lose a bit of condition, but nothing to worry about :thumb:

If you put it in a bottle, make sure you have a tube from your tap to the bottom of the bottle to avoid splashing and frothing. You wont need to prime or condition (presuming it is ready to from from the corny?) but it wouldnt have thought it will last long in the bottle (unless you use a beer gun). It will probably be good for a day or two though.

Chilling your cornie before transfer will assist in keeping the foaming down. Remember, splash as little as possible so you don't introduce any oxygen :thumb:

Edit: Hawks types quicker than me
