This is a classic case of why automated responses are absoultelu useless !!!

I have recently spent some time trying to find all the bits n bobs that are in water so I can put them into the calculator on this very site to establish my water treatment plan.

Because the web site is as good as useless, I had to leave an email for them actually quoting, I need the following:

Calcium Content.
Magnesium Content.
Sodium Content.
Sulphate Content.
Chloride Content.

Simple Ha ?

I got an automated response that I have copied and pasted below so you don't think I am making this up:

We think that the following answers will help you with your question
Title: Tell me about HomeServe.
Title: I need to find a plumber.
Title: I need to turn my water off.
Title: How can I contact Homeserve?
Title: I can' t turn off my external stop tap.

With links to all the above.

Can someone please tell me I put these details into the calcualtor and I get a report back ?

Oh, and, I may as well put my response in that I sent Veolia:

To whom it may concern.

This information is useless !

I have asked for the details of my water content and sending me answers such as where to find a plumber and how to stop a leak are pretty much useless !

Please could my actual questions be answered by a technical person in the know rather than an automated response that clearly is ineffective.

Kind Regards,

I give UP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Richc,

Unfortunately that link does not accept my postcode. I played around with different postcodes and it seems to only accept postcodes for different counties.

Otherwise, it is perfect, when it did finally accept a random postcode (no where near me) it seems to provide much of the info you need for the forum calculator.

I just wish Veolia offered the same service. All I could find from them was Chlorine content.

Anyone else live in the South Bucks or Middlesex area and know the details for Veolia water reports pleeeeeasssss.......
