Hi guys

I have some Woodfordes Nog in a pressurised barrel its been there for just over 2 weeks, it was in the FV for 2 weeks before then. I have poured a few glasses off, just to test, you understand  But its a bit flat hardley any head!!

Have I started 'testing it' too early?? or is there a problem?

Your words of wisdom would be much appreciated

Cheers

Nick

How much sugar did you prime it with?

I made a lager a month back. Left it in warm place for 2 weeks, tried it, and a little fizz, but quite flat. I'd been reading on forum, and most people had said to prime with 85g sugar. I did this myself, but, realised afterwards, that was for pressure barrel. I did some further bottles of coopers stout, and primed with 155g sugar, and that came out top notch...

Maybe you didn't put enough sugar in?

Oh! i guess that could be it... I put 4 tablespoons in the barrel.

Can I add more now or is it too late??
