it's been brewing a while but when I tested it .................... it was reading 1010 so I guess it hasn't finished grrrrrrrrrr tastes good though :) hopefully I will manage to get it to fizz

 the second pic aint the best I will take another after work and load it :D

You should try doing cider it's good and not to difficult :D and tastes great :D

as soon as the nettles are up I will be brewing a beer

I"VE GOT THE HOMEBREW BUG heheehe  hopefully get a ribena wine on the go later while there on offer :D

That looks oddly good! (not an insult i just like the colour even if it is a bit different) What did you use to make each gallon? Im just starting off and fancy trying a few different odd ball ciders!

hehe well I just wanted to see what would happen and also the taste :)

number 1 turbo cider
4ltr apple juice
1ltr rasberry and cranberry
no sugar added
pectolase
tannin
yeast

number 2 and 3 turbo cider

3ltr apple
2ltr rasberry and cranberry
no sugar added
pectolase
tannin
yeast

chucked all the juice , tannin (strong tea) and pectolase in a fermenting bucket added yeast left for few day till it carmed then put in demi johns with airlock and left till now :)

heres a better pic I hope lol

mmmmm may have to give something like that a try for my next batch! What kind of amounts of yeast etc did you add? I still dont really under stand how you know how much yeast and bits to add.

I chuck a full square in a demi john (I don't know either lol) but that was cider number 1

2 and 3 had 1 between them (like a plonker I forgot to double it) but it seemed ok so maybe half a DJ is ok I am about to see what they read now to see if they are ready :) fingers crossed

it's reading between 1000 and 1010 so still not ready

tastes ok ....... can taste the fruit more in 2 and 3 although 1 has a nice back taste of fruit

Hopefully by next week it will be ready to bottle or maybe I should just leave it for about a month in the dark to see if it clears more then test and bottle it :wha: hummmmmm
